Part Time- Seasonal DW Park Aide

The Boone County Conservation Board is seeking candidates to fill 1 Part Time- Seasonal Park Aide position in Ogden, IA. The selected individual will assist in a variety of tasks associated with the management of Don Williams Campground and park, wildlife areas, and trails managed by the Boone County Conservation Board. This position may require some weekend, night, and holiday hours.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 17 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Background check and drug test may be required. The ability to routinely lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions. The ability to operate and assist with the maintenance of various outdoor equipment.

DESCRIPTION: Seasonal position under general supervision of the Director and direct supervision of the Operations Manager. Performs mowing, weed eating, cleaning of facilities, facility and park maintenance, public relations, interaction with park visitors and other jobs as assigned.  Preferred experience in operation of equipment such as mowers, trimmers, skid loaders, tractors, chain saws and hand tools. Willing to work a nonstandard work week with some night, weekend and holiday work may be required. This is a seasonal position running from approximately March to September and will not exceed 8 hours per week.

WAGE: $15/hr. 8 hours per week.
