Seasonal Golf Course Worker

Summary

Performs diverse tasks associated with the maintenance of the county’s golf course, parks, trails, and wildlife management areas.  

WAGE: $13-14/hr 40 hours per week, seasonal position 

Essential Functions

Primary duties will include, but are not limited to the daily maintenance of the golf course grounds and facilities which will include mowing greens, fairways, rough, tees and collars, painting, trimming, as well as a variety of other duties assigned by the Golf Course Superintendant, Director, and/or Operations Manager.  Work duties will primarily be on the golf course at Don Williams Park.

Essential Knowledge, Experience, and Ability

Must be 18 years old and have a current Iowa driver’s license. Basic knowledge of equipment, procedures and tasks associated with maintenance of county parks, recreation areas, and golf courses.
