Cost
Certified copies are available for $15.00 to persons of entitlement. Must pay with cash or check, we can only accept credit/debit cards when in person.
Non-certified copies of marriage records are available, for a fee of $5.00. Must pay with cash or check, we can only accept credit/debit cards when in person.
Available Records
Beginning July 1, 1997, certified copies of marriage certificates became available through the Recorder's Office. Marriages from 1954 to the current date are available electronically in all counties in Iowa, regardless of where the event occurred. Boone County does have some marriage records going back as far as 1851. They do not have a lot of information. They do run from then to the present.
Instructions
You will need a valid photo ID or driver's license, be at least 18 years old and have entitlement.

Identification
